Training of healthcare staff

At the heart of Une Chance de Vivre’s mission is a training program for local healthcare staff, aimed at enhancing their skills in neonatal and obstetric care to reduce maternal and infant mortality.

Since 2019, our team has carried out several training missions in Kinshasa (DRC) and Kamsar (Guinea), providing both theoretical and practical training tailored to the local context and on-the-ground realities.

Through these training missions, Une Chance de Vivre not only contributes to the development of healthcare staff’s skills but also to the sustainable improvement of neonatal and obstetric care quality.

Interactive platform for healthcareprofessionals, Acces-NEO

In 2025, Une Chance de Vivre is launching the Acces-Neo platform (official launch to come).

In collaboration with various doctors and other healthcare professionals specializing in neonatal and maternal care, Acces-Neo is an online, interactive platform of care protocols designed for healthcare professionals working in neonatology and obstetrics in developing countries. Acces-Neo will provide constant and evolving access to validated care practices aimed at improving the quality and safety of care and reducing neonatal mortality.

3 Fundamental Objectives

Provide evidence-based care protocols, specifically for neonatal and maternal care.

Facilitate access to regularly updated resources and care protocols by international health experts (Canada, France, etc.).

Improve caregivers’ ability to provide quality care despite infrastructure constraints.
