Mobilisation Uzima
A Quebec NGO launches an emergency campaign for the humanitarian crisis in DR Congo Montreal, March 27, 2025 – The NGO “Une Chance de Vivre” (Une Chance de Vivre) today launches the “UZIMA” Mobilization to help victims of the humanitarian crisis in Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The objective: to raise 30,000 CAD to provide emergency kits for hospitals in Goma and Bukavu, including Dr. Denis Mukwege’s Panzi Hospital – 2018 Nobel Peace Prize winner.

Its mission is to give every child a chance to live, regardless of where they are born.
Through this campaign, our goal is to offer a future and a glimmer of hope to a population that must face these atrocities on a daily basis. Every life is precious and everyone has the right to live in health and safety” (Micha Mfuana, president of the NGO Une Chance de Vivre)
